Sarah has been a huge asset to the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center’s impact in clinical trials. She is always looking at ways to better help her team and provide them with everything they need to be successful. She monitors metrics closely to ensure the trials are being well-managed, and is passionate about her work. It’s been a pleasure working with her and her team!

She uses critical thinking to ensure smooth coordination of studies and always is willing to jump in and support our Clinical Research Office and the frontline providers!!
This individual is one that takes pride in what she does. Everybody has a great deed in pride into what they do on a daily basis. Chelsea, from the moment I started working with her, I could see the compassion she has for what she does. Every patient of hers takes a special part in her heart, and she goes above and beyond for each one of them. She is very helpful and sincere with making it work for the patients. Her determination drives me to be just as motivated even more in the work that I do. I would put her at the top of the list as an empowered young woman with a drive that can’t be beat. Discussing patients treatments with her is like a heartfelt story because the compassion behind every word is endearing. Her strong passion will lead her to do many things as she grows in her career. I am honored to experience the awesomeness she has to offer.
Thank you
Kathy Franco is one of the most dedicated researchers I have met. Not because of the research she participates in, the importance of which can’t be overstated, but because she dedicates so much time to training the next generation of researchers (PI’s, Coordinators, Monitors, etc.) and retraining the current population of researchers to maintain the absolute peak of quality. She is willing to take calculated risks to support her people, which has resulted in many bold and innovative proposals and grant opportunities. I enthusiastically and strongly recommend Kathy, and I’m confident many more will as well. #Mentor4Life
A great resource in training and support; a go getter and always positive even with the challenges posed by Covid-19.
Jennifer is changing the face of clinical research, with innovation, dedication and passion.
Mayleen is the most caring and loving person I’ve met. She cares for all her patients and loves what she does. She always checks in with you after treatment and before treatment. All doctors and patients all love her. I’ve know Mayleen for 5 years as a patient. Thank you Mayleen for being the best Medical Assistant. You make Treatment easy.
Shanti moved effortlessly into a leadership role leading our projects as the Project lead and MSH site lead. It has been wonderful to watch her grow in a new role and make such a huge institutional impact.
She is creative, hard working CRC i have ever seen. She is good with colleagues and all her research subjects like her. This type of CRC will bring more research subjects to the research study
Mary Lord RN MS CCRA and Associate Director for US Oncology, Global Clinical Trial Operations at Merck embodies the nursing passion for continual learning by seeking accreditation opportunities for clinical research staff. It is because of her dedication to always improve on personal professional practice, that we are now members of a clinical research certification organization, ACRP. Many of us will seek full certification in the up-coming year. It is because of her dedication to perfecting professional research practice that we have this wonderful opportunity.
Dr. Ramsey is a pioneer in clinical research operations – she’s always on the cutting edge of how technology can partner with incredible clinical research professionals to accelerate research. She has over 30 years of clinical experience and has overseen over 300 clinical trials.
Not only is she impacting UTHSC, but her service in numerous leadership capacities across industry groups and other universities show her dedication to advancing clinical research as a whole. Her knowledge, expertise and compassion are second to none.
When I see this quote from Florence Nightingale, Dr. Ramsey comes to mind:
“Rather, ten times die in the surf, heralding the way to a new world, than stand idly on the shore.”
Christina is one of the greatest leaders in research i have ever had the honor of working with. She is brilliant, a tremendous leader and a caring and focused clinician.
